It's a great car. The thing (more Boyd bashing by me) Chip is willing to do is talk to people and his line about everyone at the show being a potential best friend because they are into cars just like him. That's great, Boyd doesn't reflect that at all. Great show by the way.

Chip says anyone who is competing at the autorama is not a competitor...they are a potential best friend.
Man he's a great guy!
He really shows that there is hope for humanity!

What more can one say about this guy . . . I know people may seem different in front of a camera, but darn does Chip seem like a 'regular' guy. And his work lends itself to something 'outside the box' but keeping with traditions that are embedded in 'hot rodding'.
Seems like someone I'd like to have a beer with . . . .

Anyone catch that part where Chip held up the life-size cut out of Coddington to the paint booth window.
I agree Chip is just such a down to earth guy. Like he said "Everyone here is not a competitor but a potentially new friend." And the emotion that he showed when winning the award just shows you his love for what he does.

How can you guys watch those shows?
B-O-R-I-N-G!
Once you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Because I enjoy cars, seeing someone create something that's like art, and you can learn stuff along the way. List your favorite 10 shows and I'm sure you'll get some comments on your taste.

Chip is a great guy, and this is why I waited in line for over 3 hours to get his autograph and meet him at the Atlantic City Classic Car Auction this past Febuary. He is a ture down to earth fellow, who you can sit and talk cars with for hours on end. He is the best .
