It was gorgeous. Its was yellow, it was Italian, it had the most awesome sounding 12-cyl I ever heard. It was a Murcielago (Me-yer-see-el-ah-go for the phonetically challenged) I was behind it for a couple of miles on the highway. I kept up with it as best I could. As luck would have it, he took my exit, and was next to me at the light. I motioned for him to put the window down, and told him that needs to leave the windows down to appreciate the exhaust note. It was really cool about it, and put both windows down, and we talked for almost a minute, then he took off, getting back on the highway, and got on it pretty good on the on ramp. He almost broke loose those massive looking 335s. What an awesome sight and sound. Just thought I'd share.:drive:

You just have to hear it to fully appreciate it, and those 335s were HUGE looking tucked up under the car.

I have yet to hear a murcelago,

but almost every V12 sounds amazing... a v8 is like rock and roll, a v12 is like going to the symphony

I saw one in a pearlescent color about a year ago. The driver couldn't have been older than 19.

Guy that owns several local Subway franchises owns one. They have too dang much money, he drives around in a Lambo, his other car is a $60k Mercedes, and his 20 year old son (who works at one of his Subway stores) is cruising in a Z06. Ugh hehe.

It trips me up every time I see it coming, though. I'm not used to those lines, so I always think, "That's an odd looking 300Z ... oh holy *bleep*!" hehe

19!!??

I had a chance to drive a Diablo when I was 20 (I worked for a car detailing business), and turned it down, fearing what would happen if I ever got into an accident. :bang:

I'm not sure? I checked their inventory online and they don't have it listed.

I know they have had a few Ferrari/Lambo/Corvette days up Pocono during last month so maybe more people are staying in the area for them?

I saw two 80's-era Ferraris today within a period of 15 minutes. And a buddy of mine has a friend whose dad drives a 2003 Modena. He's also in the sandwich business. He owns Larry's Giant Subs, which I think is only a local business.

On a side note, I think Murcielago actually pronounced Moo-thee-uh-lah-go. I'll look it up and take out this sentence if I'm wrong, though.

Coming from an Italian, its pronounced Murr-Che-La-Go

Drove a Rolls a few weeks ago, so if ya ever get a chance to drive a really expensive car (and no liability) take it...Carpe Diem.

When I re-read the pronunciation today, I was just about to point that out! you beat me to it, although I thought it was murr-kee-la-go

Taken from http://www.commondriver.com/e02lamurc0106.asp

If you don't speak Italian, the correct pronunciation of MurciƩlago is a bit of a mystery. CommonDriver hasn't yet officially heard back from Lamborghini on the correct pronunciation, although other magazines seem to think they've solved it. Car and Driver says, "Mercy-ell-ah-go", Motor Trend says, "Moo-thee-uh-Lago", and Automobile says "Mirth-ee-AY-la-go". Hmm. For now, you can take your pick.

Funny, too, since MurciƩlago is a SPANISH word.

Saw a black one of those Sat. in the Wisconsin Dells. It's a tourist trap in central Wisconsin. Probably belonged to some F.I.B. Boy are they hated up here. I personally don't have a problem with them because I used to live in Ill. It sure was a hot car.
