Aww, how cute! Seen what Nissan is doing with the "Pino" (re-bodied Suzuki Alto kei-car)?

You'll be surprised, but old Fiat 500 was a big success all over Europe.

I saw lots of the previous gen Mouse when I was in Poland last summer. The new one looks better, IMO. My friend in Gdansk, who has a Toyota, told me he'd like to buy one. They make a lot of sense as a city car in places where gas is so costly.

Mouse comes from topolino-little mouse- which is what the old Fiat 500's were called.

I have an issue with the slope on the rear end, but it looks kinda interesting otherwise

Actually, it's been done many times. A guy named Al Cosentino in the US sold performance parts for Fiats through his FAZA company. Very eccentric guy with a weird but fun catalog and I always had to wait forever for him to ship me parts for my Fiat 128SL.

He raced the hell out of hopped up Fiats using a lot of Abarth parts. Abarth was/is a performance parts company and Fiat Abarths were the kings of their class on the track.

You'd be surprised at how fast a light car with a small but hot engine can be.
