Ever miss your old cars?
For some reason I'm having a day where I miss my old cars. My souped up GTP, my souped up GTO, my flat black trans am...
anyone have some awesome/fun non-mustang cars on their past that they miss?
I miss my old '05 GTO. Cammed, headers, and all the usual suspects for mods, but still less HP than the Mustang w/ just a tune.
my '88 T/A that was my beater when I had the GTO. 355, TPI, auto-t-tops.
Or my first car that i really cut my teeth on. '98 Grand Prix GTP Daytona 500 Pace Car (#1321/1500) Please excuse the garish decals, they're what the Track Cars had.

I miss all of them. Well most of them. Too bad I don't have pics. 89 Formula Firebird (Got more tail with that car. Geez)
91 Notch (love)
95 & 96 Impala SS. (Best cars ever)
Even miss my recently departed 99 Tahoe 2dr.
Gonna miss this cobra eventually.
Gonna miss the next one I get too.
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
We can't all be gary and just keep em all.

If i ever get crazy rich, I'm going to try to buy back either the cars I sold, or a equal replacement. Except my first '88 Camaro. That was a v6. Comparable IROC would work fine as a replacement.

Especially since you can get it in that guard green. Fastback styled new body with a couple trimmings can make for a nice Bullitt tribute.

I spent MANY hours during my college years on clubgp.com forums. I had a 2000 GT coupe, true green metallic, street scenes grill, GMPP suspension, etc. LOVED that car! Only sold it when I got my 2013 Mustang GT in May/June of 2012.

I had a bunch of late 60's vintage GTO's that were show worthy. I thought I would miss them. I don't. I think I miss my old 81 z28 .But I'm sure what I miss is being a kid again because I owned it in the 80's. Nah I think the best of the bunch is the 11 GT/CS I own now.

I miss my '71 Chevelle, my '71 Super Beetle, and my '93 Trans Am.
The '71 Chevelle got restored (more) after I sold it, the '71 Super Beetle got totalled, and the '93 Trans Am is getting restored/modified by the current owner. I also had a real clean all original '80 Z28 that the guy I sold it to keeps up real nice. Last time I heard anything about the car he still had it parked next to his 1980's 442 or Hurst Olds in his garage/barn.

I miss my 1955 Ford 2 door Custom sedan. It only had a 272 ci V8, but had a 3 speed manual transmission. It was a kind of pinkish tan color. I always liked the 1955 and 1956 Ford design.

I miss my miata too. Probably the most fun to drive slow car ever. I can cheat and borrow it from my father and drive it. I gave it to him when I bought a new car.
I also had a 67 mustang convertible that I sold when my ex became pregnant. I never finished her and always regretted letting her go. The mustang, not the ex wife.

Yeah dude, I can just build essentially the same car I have now, but better in every way. Plus the ecoboost is really appealing to me, since I'd be using it as my DD. the 302/C4 combo in the II doesn't exactly get great mileage

Yep. A couple trimmings. Spoiler delete. Wheels. Blackout grill. I see BULLITT all day long out of that new body. It would make a nice Mach 1 tribute too.
