Ethanol

Will too much ethanol in gas hurt our cars?

the fuel system in your car is not meant to run anymor ethanol then what some gas companies cut into their normal gas. Ethanol does have its advantages if you set up your fuel system to handle and get it tuned for it. Race type of people lean toward that direction because it has the resitance to explosion comparable to 105 octane race fuel. However with that it requires bigger fuel lines bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump. So a little ethanol (less then 10%) will not hurt but don't try running E85 in it unless you have set up your car for it
