Leaf springs!? What's next, a solid front axle? LOL.
It looks sinister and if my co-worker sees this, he just might "have to" get this one since it would no doubt remind him of the black '70 Challenger SE he used to have.

WTF
???
Am I wrong in looking at the car and seeing that it is laid out as a dedicated drag car?.......
ie - you are going straight very fast on a drag strip
why in the hell would you need IRS?......

Dodge asked the same queston, which is why this drag version has a solid rear axle.

Must have read the posts in the wrong frame of mind - seemed like people were bagging it a bit because it did.... rereading now, not so much.....
(work is not good for you - it dulls your brain..... )

Ok i see what you are saying...they were bagging it for using leaf springs. which the mustang has lost long ago. the 3 link so superior to the leaf springs. So i kinda misunderstood you too.

Dang, definitely does an awesome job at bring back the old school look! I still think Ford did better with the S197 though... better blend of old and new. Maybe I shouldn't say better, but I like it more.
