Isn't this the 2nd generation of the Viper ACR? IIRC, the original wasn't exactly street legal - a track-only package.

Car and Driver did a test with the coupe.

Car and Driver test results

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 3.5 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 7.6 sec
Zero to 150 mph: 17.0 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 4.2 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 11.6 sec @ 126 mph
Top speed (drag limited, mfr’s claim): 202 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 150 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 1.00 g

Quick, but not cheap--price as tested was $90,345

The first ACR was street legal, it just lost some weight (a/c, stereo, etc) and picked up 10hp.

And as far as straight line speed, the new vette should still blow this out of the water, since it will most likely be about ~500lbs lighter and have at least an extra 50hp.

Straight line speed the ZR1 should spank it but on a Lap course a la Laguna Seca, those aero add ons should help out greatly. 3450 lbs though is going to put it at a little odds vs a sub 3K lb Vette, it is going to be a toss up. Those hot lap tests of the ZR1 done at Laguna were supposedly faster than a Z06 full out and they babied it a tad so should be very interesting to see the head to head. Either way they are out of my league in price so all I can do is drool over them.

That thing looks super nasty, I'd probably want that stripe duplicated on the passenger side though, it looks a little odd
