Hey Jason, on last week's Top Gear show on Discovery Channel, you can go to the 'Ring most anyday and for I believe it was 14 U.K. Pounds, (arouind $28) & you can go around the track. Jeremy Clarkson ran the Jaguar S-Type Diesel he took around the Ring in 9:59, only to be shown how to really do it by a woman named Sabine, who basically works at the track. She has driven it over 25,000 times, and knows where every bump, turn and corner is like itb the back of here hand. She took the same car and did it in 9:15 I think. I can only imagine taking a new Mustang GT or for that matter the Ford GT around for a lap. That would be an experience.

Awesome! Anyone know what car he's driving? I like how he doesn't slow when over taking, the slower cars just know the proper courtesy to move right and let him take the inside line. He's going that fast and he still has time to casually reach up and adjust the rear view mirror! Imagine driving that track in a full-length race? It’s something like 13 miles and 130+ corners. That WMV is definitelya keeper!

Edo Competition prepped Porsche 996 GT 2 RS.

It's a lap record for road approved vehicles. Read more.

That is awesome! the BMW at the end of the lap lost him about 2 seconds though, he definately lifted for that overtake.

Anyone else notice how many mini's there were on the track??

Apparently she will make an appearance in the new series. I got an Aston/Jaguar joint promotional DVD with a magazine. She was driving the Aston, so she has obviously capitalised on her appearence on TG!

from the top gear video:
sabine schmidt was driving a diesel van with 136HP. it goes 0-60MPH in 21 seconds. the video says some ppl struggle to go around the 7.5miles course in porsches in under 10 minutes.
