<-- Consumer Reports.... If you look down to Toms' thread of the most recalled vehicles you will see the Honda Civic Coupe and Sedan have 4 recalls in 06 for:

--Faulty frontal airbags
--Incorrect NHTSA contact info in owner's manuals
--Gas pedals that may come loose
--Improperly attached rear glass

This is why I don't EVER listen to Consumer reports. They write nothing but biased asian drivel, whatever I recently checked out an 2008 Escape it easily beats the RAV4 IMHO. The American Auto industry is in trouble right now and will be while they attempt to turn it around but what goes up must come down and I think Toyota's recent lack of long term quality is a tell tale sign of whats to come. GM and Ford got cocky and lost sales, but this can and will happen to every car company. The reason is that as the old regime leaves the company you loose some of the values that it had as it's risen to fame, this will continue to happen to Toyota and other Japanese companies as their sales go up more quality slip ups will show up.

As long as american manufactures contiune to increase their quality and not bank on Toyota screwing up then we will be fine.
