Did you guys see the Charger SB commercial? That was great. The beat down we take everyday from our wives and girlfriends we should at least be able to drive the car we want. Aint that the truth.

I loved the message in that commercial! I had read an article where any companies that took bailout money weren't going to be allowed to purchase SB commercial slots. Guess it was wrong though because there was this one a GMC commercial and Chevy ones during pre/post game.

 

No it wasn't. Dude was married and stuff.

our view of the commercial was thus:

"so you pretty well have to be a p**** to drive a charger?"

 

or married to a ball buster.

 

Yeah... but I had to get rid of the whacko wife so I could finally drive the car I want.

 

Yeah, but that car ain't a 4 door sedan with automatic transmission.

If they did that same commercial with a Viper it would actually make some sense.

 

Im not really talking about the car just the general message. If you do not take **** from your wife and she does not drive you nuts then your one lucky bastard.

We had a really great Super Bowl party here! Congrats Saints! The commercials were a blast! Dorritos won all the "Best" votes! It was all high fives from the Stang Gang after watching that great new Charger commercial piece! Sometimes real humor can almost be painfully funny!

To us the ad was not really about that car or even about one's wives or girl friends. It was more about the great guy humor of this ad! And also about driving what is your own personal passion, which brings that true car happiness in life! Right fellow Stang-ers?

My own Lady really loved this ad too and so did her gal friends there! It was so completely original and really great man fun too! CalStang

 

I thought it was like a domestic violence commercial!

 

The message may be you don't have to give up performance and drive a crappy SUV/CUV. actually, we have both. I drive the Bullitt and my wife has the Charger RT. In our house, I pick the cars, she decides her colors.

 

At the end of the spot I said "It has four doors, so you still lose."

 

 

4 doors. That is a negative.

 

Tell that to EVO drivers that will rip Mustangs a new one anything this side of the coyote...
