I wish they made AWD an option.

I went to the races last night. They run the 1/8 mile. Later in the evening a 2012 SRT Charger showed up. You could tell that it had a few mods to it but...

First off there was a Newer 911 and a 2014 Stingray cleaning everyone's clock. They had constant 8.2 8.4 Times. The SRT came up and pulled 8.1 and beat them every time. I can only imagine the new SRT HellCat Challenger and Charger beating everything on the street. Hell he was even beating some of the Pro Street Cars. LOL

I'm Wondering If Shelby or SVT will build a SRT Challenger?

Holy cow, what's the track DA? 5000? Those are some slow times for those cars. Hopefully SVT comes back with something fierce. These Hellcats are no joke.

Not sure it was about 90F and 89% humidity. Track sites around 29' Sea level.

The quickest Pro car was 6.0

Awesome Charger but how much does it cost? Would it be cheaper to buy an SRT8 and slap a blower on it? This would be great for guys that like function and performance but don't want to compromise on either.

I think it cost about the same as the HC Chellenger, but that is "to be announced". If it does,...it's about 60K.
Even if you slap a supercharger on a SRT Charger,..you're not going to get these results unless you rebuild and beef up the internals/bottom end and transmission and rear end. So,..you're about the same cost,if not more, but without a warranty.
Never mind all the different suspension settings you can adjust with the 2015 HC Challenger and Charger.

The Challenger Hellcat is for sure $65K. Don't forget dealer markup though. Expect $75K at the very least.

It appears you're right, just called my buddy who's a sales manager at a dealer. Last I checked a few weeks ago, it was rumored at $65K. Still, with them being very limited production, I doubt anyone will be getting one for that price. The dealer my buddy works at says they're tacking on a $10,000 up charge.

No doubt, I would be surprised to see anyone get it for that price.

They probably won't sell many as the Charger guys have a list of who's selling for MSRP and the ADM. The same goes for the Challenger guys.
I may be wrong though. I wouldn't pay ADM. Some people don't do their research, just buy and hope for the best.
