Challenger SRT8 info!

So it seems info is out for the Challenger SRT8. Pics are below and it also states 425hp which is what we were all estimating but considering the price/weight/adm that this thing is going to bring I honestly am dissappointed. I mean price wise it is going to basically fall in the same range as the GT500 with or without their adm's and it will definately be as heavy if not heavier and it is 75 hp short!

The cover of the one stating "POWER PLAYERS", says on the bottom, "Hemi Powered Street Rod- 0-60 in 3.9". Do you think there are refering to the Challenger??

Hang in there. They are going to offer a Sure Grip 3.91 option, and the 6-speed manual is coming along with more pwer in "09.

Even the 425hp 6-speed manual with the 3.91's will be pretty impressive considering how well that motor propels the current LX's.

They originally announced 5,000 of the first run of '08s. those sold almost instantly. Lowest ADM i heard of was 5K. Right after that Chrysler announced they were going to increase production to 10,000 units.
I don't know if that extra 5,000 are sold but probably are.

Exactly. No way the challenger is hitting 60 in 3.9. More like 5.0 +/- a few tenths.

It needs that 3.91 rear gear, the tires are about 28" tall
