At first I didn't think this made any production sense, but the more I consider it, it just might. If the Viper goes away, it might be a more cost-effective way to compete in that market. I still think we'll see the 6.4 hemi replacing the 6.1, but using existing powertrains would be worth some consideration I would think.

Personally, I'd rather have a 6.1 or larger hemi. They perform just fine and certainly sound better than a V10.

Finally figured out what was nagging me about that hood (other than boy is it ugly). It looks like a Thunderbolt's cowl hood turned around the wrong way:

yeah that's real cool (although I agree about the nostrils.. just take that divider out!)
I'd definitely choose the challenger over the viper any day. The Challenger really is a great design, just saw one on the street the other day for the first time.

OH, I saw that a little while ago, it's cool, cuz of the engine, but I still dont really like the Challenger body
