well, yesterday the aunt and i were out on some errands, we had the pontiac cruisin at 50, she stopped the cruise, then the car goes $%&#in insane, and shoots all the way to 70!!! she stood on the break, and got it to slow down, but it shouldnt have pulled that poo

so, im no longer gettin the Grand AM for fear of it doing it to me

and whats worse? we still owe 10,000 on it!!!!!!!!

This happened to my mothers Jeep one time coming back from Church... got pretty scared for a minute or two...

 

Really need to sort out the Cruise Control computer as it should be seperate to the main ECU. I happened to me in my Father in laws Cherokee, luckilly, it wasn't that quick to start with!!

It occurs that mine crapped out sometime last winter and hasn't worked since.
I hate that car.

 

I will put money on the fact the Alero will break down as you are going to pick up your new 'Stang. Cars hear you when you slag them off and get you back for it!!

As for the alero- I accept the fact I am being punished, and it is worthless, and I have to continue to pay for it for another year because I can't trade it in. Lifes lesson- live and learn. (And don't buy GM crap products)

Trust me when I say I do not peel out of a parking spot or my garage(only redlights and sailing over railroad tracks, nother story)

For the past 3 days when I stick my car into reverse the low traction light comes on more times than not.

That dummy light is supposed to tell you one or more tires lost traction and only when you are peeling off or its rainy, not hey you are reversing! WTF?

Anyone know?
