Saw a couple at the Rolex Grand-Am event at IMS (Chevy had a "display" on the parking lot in front of the Museum), and I think it looks better. Darn car is pretty big as well!

I won't really knock the Z28 as I think it's a great idea. My only thing would be, I could just get a used Z06 if I were ever in the market.

But for a Camaro it's a pretty cool package. Took them long enough.

Looks great gotta say. The prelude lights still look out of place even though they were supposed to resemble the lights of yesteryear. However, i dont think id take this onto a track. The outward visibility is still very poor when you need to know exactly where you are on the track. However, this gives FoMoCo time to evaluate the Z28 and tweak the next gt350 accordingly. The new era of pony wars has begun

heard that GM will offer this model in Europe for the 2016 MY, of course manual only,
and Ford will answer that with a GT-350 which will be produced in Europe as the Chevy will

Well the europeans will get em at the same time which is awesome but unfortunately here in the us its ready to be unleashed on the streets. Chevy will take every advantage it can get over the Mustang, but im confident that Ford will ultimately prevail

I do find it funny that the Boss is a true 302. Unlike this new Z28. Ford really tried hard to get the Boss right. I think from that stand point they did very well for themselves. And with great power for a 302 to boot! The Z28 is kind of a showy toy. Fully capable but not exactly the Boss.

I will be interested to see if Ford does come back with a GT350 to combat the Z28.

Like I mentioned in the Youtube Comments, I can't help but stare at those tacked on fender flares. They look like they'd fall off of the car hits the smallest pot hole.

Got to say, for a stock exhaust , it sounds really good.
Sucks that they won't offer the flat colors, it would of make the car stand out even more against other camaros.

Red face

That Camaro needs some flames on the front fenders . It just looks too bland in white.

I kind of wish Chevrolet brought back the I-ROC before the z/28. Have the I-ROC and Boss battle while the GT350 and the Z28 duke it out one step higher.

IROC cars has such a conflicted history, even though most people identify with the IROC-Z Camaro; Porsche, Pontiac, and Dodge have been IROC cars as well.

It was a pretty cool package for the Z28 but the ultimate 3rd gen was the 1LE which is closer in concept to the original Z/28 and Boss 302 than the current Z/28.
