the one on the left is a v6, i only see one exhaust, the one on the right, a v8...same with the stangs...maybe they are seeing what they are tryin to beat?

Look noticably shorter height-wise than the 'Stang, makes me wonder how "intimate" the interior will be, especially in back. Is this thing going to end up a Corvette with a rear package shelf? Are those windows even smaller thant he Magnum's bunker-slits?

yeah it does look quite watered down and....boring

but it could be the white paint and having almost no reflections that could cause it to look so bland.

Naw benchmarking the Mustang, its how the game is played, in 09 Ford will probably grab a few and reverse engineer them to see where they improved over Ford's design then figure out how to improve the Mustang.

Watered it down and ruined it, IMO. I am beginning to revise my opinion such that by the time this thing arrives, it may tank after all.

I hope it's the paint that's making it hard to see the lines of the car. If they rounded out and smoothed the lines, then the car's look is ruined as Hollywood said. The body looks too much like the Challenger without the sharp lines.

Yep, those sharp creases are what made the design work.
