Next to boring Germans, where all cars look alike, this Cadillac is a masterpiece.

it looks like classic caddy. Wish Lincoln would go in this direction. A caddy or Lincoln should be Grand and stylish.. not bling covered and simple.

This thing is freaking fantastic. I agree with Flag, wish Lincoln was this inventive/adventurous.

In that first picture I feel like the tone is"your move...everyone"

Moot point if they (Cadillac) don't put it into production. As the article states they (Cadillac) don't have a very good track record of putting concepts into production.

It most likely won't go into production, but we might see similar design lines on future Cadillac models.

I don't like the mirrors much, and the grille is a lil' big.

Exceptin' that... That's pretty dang sweet.

I'm not a fan of Cadillac styling but I actually like this. Nice color too.

Agreed. This feels closer to a 64 Lincoln than any current Lincoln. Very classy and stylish.

"pimp" is a great word to describe this car... it says.. "excess" and "style." Not something I would buy, but there is a market for them.

I'll pile on: THIS is the kind of car Lincoln should be coming up with, NOT just a bunch of mildly tarted up Ford models. Lincoln is way behind the curve here and is in great danger of going the way of that other late purveyor of tarted up Fords: Mercury.

If Ford truly wants to keep Lincoln alive as a viable brand, they should immediatly develop both a coupe and sedan based on the upcoming Mustang S550 platform, immediately, like now if not yesterday.

Nice little video...........ignore the designer-talk and drink in the details.

And I love.......L O V E that pillar-less look. I also love the fact this just couldn't be a German, Japanese or European design.........it takes your mind back to the hard-edged Cadillacs of the 60s and 70s without being retro. I'd take this rather than a bling Bentley or a boring Mercedes.

Lincoln could do this. Lincoln SHOULD do this. But whereas Lincolns are plush Fords with so-so underpinnings, this uses the right ingredients. A RWD chassis with a V8 up front.

I really, really hope Cadillac builds this. Even Clint Eastwood wants one (listen at the end of the video). Go ahead, Cadillac, make my day!

I agree with this:

This and the new Volvo are better expressions of the Lincoln design heritage than anything Lincoln at the moment and I'm sad as Lincoln was the brain I aspired to as a kid. Now I have the income it's German or Caddy that have the best offerings.

It reminds me of one of the most stunning Lincoln Concepts, the Mk 9. I still think Lincoln was on the right track with their design with thst car and the Continental concept. Sleek Clean and Uniquely American. Which is why the 60s Continental is still regarded as one of the most Beautiful and Elegant cars ever made, along with the Mark II.
