BIG 3 oiler can listings this week and next
I am not soliciting bids as I will do fine with these. I am posting if you are interested in seeing what old petroliana goes for as far as simple oiler cans. I do this every week but since this is car related I thought it could be interesting. I have 8 listings this week and 8 more next week.
Here is a link to the Ford listing and if you click on 'sellers other items' you will see the Mopar and GM cans too. Mods, please remove if not appropriate, and I apologize as well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/267042317524
I Remember Those. It's a 1954 Part Number Which Means That is The Year They Came up With a Certain Formulation or Update. That is The Style of Packaging They Still Used When I Started Out in Parts in 1984 and For Some Years Later!

^^^ Thanks for allowing this. The 2 Ford cans are kinda bringing up the rear so far but the lead top cans are much older and more appealing to collectors. Mopar stuff always does well as their just isn't as much out there.
You Could Post Any Items in the For Sale Section as Well. I Updated it a While Back To allow All Make Items. You are an Established Member So No Worry in Here.

^^^ Thank you for that but this is just a 'fun' post for those interested. I have a solid following for these items on ebay so no problems selling. People have some serious $$$ for petroliana items. I love finding the cans at the shows I attend. It's like looking for treasure. As the saying goes, "the thrill is in the hunt."

With a few hours left, the auctions are going as expected with the GM cans doing a bit better than I hoped. The Ford cans are bringing up the rear but there seems to be more of them available out there. Many folks don't know about Rotunda which doesn't help.

You are certainly right. That Rotunda ended up selling for over $80. That was a record for me for a 4 oz Rotunda can. My best of the night was a Mopar that sold for $210. We'll see what this week's BIG 3 does.
