BBC and YouTube strike deal; Top Gear for the masses!

Looks like new Top Gear clips showing up on YouTube will no longer be "pulled down" by the BBC anymore.

I have been downloading the episodes off the newsgroups, excellent quality! The quality on YouTube is pretty poor, I'd still recommend getting them from the newsgroups or via bittorrent.

Hmmmm..... I dunno, they ragged on the GT500 pretty hard this last time, said Ford was lying about output, it didn't have a limited slip dif and it used stock brakes. Just can't watch the show with those same rosey colored glasses anymore

The BBC has always been pretty good about adopting internet friendly strategies over the years, and it looks like this is a step to continue in that direction. I'm excited about the BBC News parts being added to YouTube as well, it means no more dealing with Real Player or Windows Media to watch the news.
