They did a special on Rides ( I think it was that show) a few weeks ago about the making of this and the "bandit" run from Tex-Arkana to Year One headquarters in GA.

 

I loved my Fords and always will! The bandit Trans Am was *****

 

Love to have one of those . . . maybe with a 427 Ford Stroker motor under the hood!!

I'm pretty sure the orginal bandit TA is like the lamborghini countach. you think you love it, until you drive it.

 

True but that thing is no where near original. I have the article on what they did to it and needless to say depending on how deep your wallet is that thing will be a blast especially with magnacharged LSpower and stiff suspension. The different engine options on it are a beast in themselves.

 

yeah thats why i was saying more the original ta. I'm sure with all the suspension and engine goodies this one would be a joy to drive.
