Avanti Mustang!
And Some More...
An 84 Avanti Touring Coupe, for me, the Ultimate Avanti.

The Avanti Brochure for 83. Mine was nearly Identical to the on in the brochure, but mine had a Nardi wood wheel.

A 63 or 64 Avanti from Australia.

The AMT Model that started my love affair with the Avanti. My dad had one in the top of his closet that my brother and I used to always take down and study. This is from the re-release of it from the Reggie Jackson Collection. He owned an Avanti, along with a long list of Celebrities.

And lastly, a 2002 Avanti T-Top Coupe that was built on the Firebird F-Body chassis. Originally a company began producing these under the name AVX, but the Avanti Corporation bought the rights to it and began producing them as an Avanti. However, I'm not too fond of the AVX/Avanti's as they lost the correct proportions the original Avanti had, which is one reason I was happy when they started using 2005 Mustangs, but the molds were just all wrong, especially the rear fender lines.

As a side note, the AVX/Avanti's that were built on the F-Body chassis were actually designed by Tom Kellog, one of the original designers that penned the exterior of the original Studebaker Avanti Along with a small team of designers in a rented Palm Springs House, led by Raymond Lowey.

It's all interesting to me... Though I like the classic real ones much better than the Frankenstein cars with donor Camaros and Mustangs.
Yes, I was also very fond of the AMT scale model kit of the Avanti when I was growing up. The original is a beautiful car although it's proportions may now look odd to a younger generation.
