While I don't currently have a bike, this is the one I used to own. Bought it brand new in '87 and sold it to my brother a couple years ago. I hope to be back on one in the future.

Oh yes, me love motorcycles! Here are 3 of them. And these aren't all of them! This is what happens when you have a wife that doesn't nag you about having too many toys

I like the one on the top right . My bike's a 96 S1 Lightning. The first year of that series and the bike that sparked my interest in Buells. Unfortunately I was only 14 at the time so it took me 7 years to finally get one.

Cool nice. Yeah I am a biker also. I've got a Yamaha R6.

How do you like the R6? We have an R1 and I currently have a Katana 600 that I've been on for about 4 years. I am looking at a 03 R6 Limited Edition to ride and sell the Katana.

Buells are great! Mine is an X-1 with a bunch of mod's including a Force pipe that makes it sound like a friggin' Hemi Cuda cammer with uncorked headers. Every time I ride it I am amazed at the sound, it is LOUD and DEEP and sounds like it wants to eat something. And no one knows what a Buell is except fellow Buell-ites. Everyone always looks up when they hear it and you can just see it in their eyes- "What in tarnation is that thing?"

2004 Hayabusa. Hate to say it but the Mustang is going to feel slow when I get it.

That's one of my other bikes and the primary reason I got a V6 stang instead of GT. When you're used to warping around the universe on a 'busa, the Mustang is more of an interesting sunday driver than anything else

i wanted a bike at one time, didnt have the money an never knew how to ride one either. i really like cruiser type of bikes.. not the racer kind. so basically i like harleys. i just saw the movie easy rider for the first time the other day. peter fonda is the epitome of cool. wish i could find a place that sells those sunglasses he was wearing in the movie .

About 13 years of street riding with dirt before that. Definately not for noobs. I think today's crop of 600s is way too much for a beginner. Way too many learn the hard way :notnice:
yeah, tell me about it. Too many beginners are too impatient too learn on a smaller bike. They'er the ones who end up getting hurt. My first bike was a 450cc.

My current crop includes a 1977 Raleigh Super Course, 1984 Mongoose ATB, 2001 Specialized HardRock A1 Comp FS, and a 2003 Jamis Ventura. Hopefully soon to come is a new Surly Karate Monkey mt. bike and, later, a custom lugged steel Della Santa roadie.

All but the Jamis are converted to singlespeed use, and the Raleigh will soon be turned into a fixed gear. I also just got the original fork put back on the Raleigh, after being fixed when a bike/car incident left it bent.

Wait...we're talking about bicycles, right? Tee hee!

Some pics:

Raleigh (since this was taken, it's been built up completely, with bars taped black):

Cool thread! I grew up on dirt bikes and on the back of my dad's '82 HD FLH. Once I was 16, I started riding a late 70's yamaha 650 special like sdaughe mentioned on the first page. Cool street bike.

I havent riden much in about 7 years, but now i've been on a few sport bikes and i've got the itch. I've been on a suzuki sv650 and I love the cruise/sport feel of it. More relaxed than a full out sport bike. I'm thinking that if I find a good deal on a sv650 or sv1000s, i'll probably jump on it.

Not a pic of mine, but this is my main bike:

Tend to like the old school better - KZ1000, Z1R, etc, and will probably be picking up a ZRX in the very near future.
