I have never heard of a 30K car do all of this. Please fill me in on this legendary 30K car you talk about.

funny stuff
Performance is more than just mere 0-60 times
The Evo comes no where close to Aston's all around performance

OK, so why is the EVO not winning major autosports races??? Also, where can you buy a brand new evo for $30k? We are talking new cars here, not an EVO VI that has been beaten to death
Oh, and please lose the attitude. We do not need it around here

The MSRP for a new Evo (VIII) in the States is $30,699. The 6-speed MR is ~35K.

The Vantage is dubbed the "Porsche 911 fighter."
It doesnt get that name from having EVO like performance
On a different note: Just found out that the first two years of production of this car are already sold out!

There is no getting you to the other side lol
From it's release in Geneva, it's been known that is was going to be 110-115K, although it would have been awesome if it was under 100K, for me to have even a remote chance of buying one like 30 years from now lol

welp any car that get around the Nurburg ring in under 8mins..that my friend is a fast car! The V-8 Vantage is by any measure a bargain.
Unfortuantly for the evo it has no torque and rediculous turbo lag. THe Nerburg is a track that truly test a cars meddle and the evo just hasn't got it where it counts.
Top Gear tested the evo and jeremy had a very simple torque test for it. he got the evo and a cruddy rental car and ran them up to 30mhp and kept them there in top gear..then on the word go they both mashed the peddles to the floor. the cruddy rental car killed the evo. The evo proved it had rediculous lag. Then when the stig took it around the track he got into a turn got off the gas a smidge and fell out of boost and the performance just plummited.
This will never ever happen to a car that has 75% peak power at 1500 RPMs
gimme and Aston and day!
peace

I thought the final price was 115k, either way, I can't afford it. However If I win the lotto, it will be in my garage, in the same section as the 911 S the Gallardo, the F430, Gt500 and the new Z06. The DB9 will only see my garage if I can find a manual. I have heard they come in manual but have yet to see one.
I can tell you this much, I would not bother with an Evo or WRX, they are cheap cars that are modded from the factory, big whip. I'd rather start with a sports car and modify it if I wanted something like that, not a small compact 4 door that has no room in the back seat for someone taller than 5'10".
I truly can't see it costing 130k because the DB9 costs 150k. THey should be more different in price, considering one has a V8 and one has a V12.
Also, why didn't they call it the DB8?

oooohh... well, because it isnt a DB series Aston. The AMV8 is considerably smaller than DB series AM's. Anyways, the DB9 was released before the AMV8, so it would be pretty silly to name a car DB8 after the DB9 was released :P

the DB2 was pretty small. I know we could go back and forth on this for a while, But I think it would have made sense to call it DB8 and have the DB9 at the same time. THey have had DB1, DB2, DB3, DB4, DB5, DB6, DB7 and now DB9, totally skipped over the 8 and now they have a cool V8 powered car, so I would think they would call it DB8.
And actually the DB stands for David Brown who has not owned the company since 1972, but bought it back in 1948. So, to just to skip a number in a sequence that has gone back 57 years, I would rather have the DB8 come out a few months after the DB9 and preserve the namesake.
There has not been a real DB AM for quite some time, so to say the new DB9 is any more so than the AMV8, is not completely true.
