SO, I picked up my car today. LOVE IT!
I only drove it about 30 miles so far, but I love the interior and I love the way the car looks overall. Love the exterior, but not too crazy about the wheels, but I am sure they will grow on me.
Very comfortable and it goes very well for a twin turbo V6 car. Tons of features and high tech stuff. Stuff I will probably never ever use or just shut off. LOL What I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about this car?!?!?! No auto/start stop bullcrap. No cylinder deactivation bullcrap. No hybrid bullcrap. A LOT of vehicles out today have most, if not all, of these features. NOT ME! LOL
A couple of photos on the way home today,......................
Tony, that color looks close to rapid Red, maybe a little lighter, but it's gorgeous. Love that interior. The commercials I saw for the Genesis SUV, g90 I think, really impressed me with the looks of it.
Looked super expensive and high end, like a bmw or Benz level of luxury. Really happy for you brother.

I understand about the wheels. In time, down the road, once the car has been driven a bit, perhaps some sharp looking black wheels? A 5 spoke design or whatever you like. I know many people are tired of black but they would look sweet on that ride IMO.
Enjoy your new car!!
Let me be the first to congratulate you Tony and good luck with it!

Thank you guys. I really appreciate the kind words.
I does look a little like Rapid Red in a way. It depends on the angle of the sunlight during the day. In different shades, the color looks different.
I actually thought about some nice BLACK wheels. I think black wheels would look best on here. That way, I can keep the winter tire set up on the original wheels and the nice Michelins on the new nice wheels. Hmmmmmm,........... lol
Took her out this morning for a quick rip,...............
I would definitely like to lose the front plate. (It's a law out here. Stupid.)
And she definitely would look killer with a slight drop as well, but I'm a little nervous on doing that because of the winter months.
^^Ugh!!! The dreaded front license plate. Man, does that take away from the look of a sweet ride. Do you think you would actually get pulled over without it in MA? You could always keep the tag in your car on the rear floor and tell the officer that a screw was stripped and it was falling off, or you had a bad vibration and you were trying to figure it out. Any excuse you like. I know I would never write a citation for that and I probably would never pull you over unless I needed a reason for something else. A warning would probably issued anyway and no big deal. Just a thought.
I also like your thinking about the wheels. A summer set and winter set.
That is a beautiful car Tony! Love the color, the wheels and just the overall look. I'm envious. I'd buy that over a Benz any day!
Back in Alberta now for a year and loving the no front plates up here

HA HAAAAA
I don't have a front plate on the Mustang. I have one of those Big Mike's detachable license plate holders for when I have to do the yearly state inspections.
It does definitely take away from the look of the front end for sure.

When I lived in Taxachuetts (Left in 1980) my Ranchero had both, my Gran Torino only had one. Commercial VS non.
Really nice ride. Would certainly like the cruise on say the Kangamangus lowered a little.
BTW, no front plate in Tennessee either
As for the not running the front plate, Billerica used the not having a plate on your car to find other things when I was there, went to my class reunion in Burlington Mass in 2014 and the cop followed me into the motel we were having the reunion at and asked me where my front plate was or was I not issued one. BTW Massachusetts is one of 6 states I have been pulled over for a front plate or lack of one, Virginia, New Hampshire, Oregon, Washington and California are the others, the Virginia one the officer thought my Florida prepass for the turnpike was the Virginia inspection sticker.
I have to agree that is one sharp looking car. Love the color. A real eye catcher. Genesis/Hyundai/Kia have sure come a long ways over the last few years. They do make some very good looking cars. Congrats on the new ride. Love to hear your updates going forward.

Front plate is a buzz kill. I'm so tempted to take it off.
Thanks for the kind words.

So did you trade in the Ram?
Thanks for the kind words sir.
Yes, I traded in the Ram. I had trucks for almost 17 years now. The previous Ram truck and then the white one.
I got a pretty killer deal, in my opinion. I got my 8k check in the mailbox on Thursday and deposited it into the checking account on Friday. That literally pays for half of the 3 year lease on the car. LOL
Forgot to post this one yesterday,...............THAT GLOW!!!
Obviously the car is dirty, (as you can tell by the tires), but the top half still looks pretty clean. I can't wash it till next weekend because of the ceramic coating.
