Only driven it once since I did the suspension back on 12/29. Looking at a shifter next, maybe wheels and tires but definitely at least tired because I want some all seasons. And I believe I have my appearance mods decided, but will be spring before she comes out of the garage for those since its paint work I can't do myself.
You should ado a build thread. Good luck Tom!
That Camaro is nice!
Now,if I could just convince myself that I wouldn't have a butt load of problems with the thing(like I've had with most of the GM vehicles I've owned over the years) I might consider getting one.
Nah. I'm getting a Mustang!

I think eventually, when the money is right, kids are out of college, etc, I'll be going back to GM pony cars. I am disappointed with the build quality of the Mustang. Rattles, squeaks, creaks, etc. The back piece that makes the rear end of the car look so good looks like total crap now, likes it's pealing from the inside out or something. The third break light lens looks like it's 20 years old already. The taillights are scratched up from just normal washing. The leather is as thin as paper. I have to fight with the center console to get it open. Have to slam the hood so hard to shut it I am afraid a wheel will fall off, and it's held up by a prop rod. The hood collapses down when rubbing wax off of it. The door panels are held on by cheap plastic inserts and little screws that are covered by cheap plastic covers built into the door panels. The doors do not line up with the fenders very well. And the list goes on.
Then there are the things that are potentially wrong with the car that have TSBs to cover them just in case you bring it in with the problem, like suspension parts, leaky differentials, etc. I wonder what is wrong with my car that I do not know, and if mine will develop the engine tick after the warranty is up. And how about those air conditioners going out just out of warranty?
GM is not perfect but they don't seem to cut every corner possible to put a car out. I have sat in a friend's 2016 Camaro and it is very nice, the quality I would expect being 2016.

I think Ford really dropped the ball with the S550 design ... after 2 years of production I still don't see many on the road - I do see them at work occasianly - but they are V6 rental cars ... The new Camaro is very similar to the S550 design .. but Chevy got it right IMHO - . It was Fords new S550 design that made me jump ship.

Location, location, location! The S550 is all over the place in my AO
Ford built about 122,000 Mustangs in 2015 which Mustang hadn't seen since around 2007.

My car isn't perfect - I've got the usual door panel issues and I have a few electrical gremlins I'm chasing down which I think are related to the door and seat switch but mechanically and body wise I'm doing pretty good (although I have an issue with paint bubbling on the hood which wasn't uncommon on the 05-09 cars) but 91k on the clock with the GT500 and I don't have near the issues you have and this is a car that's been daily driven in all sorts of weather and up and down the east coast.
Takata airbag aside I've only had one problem that was a warranty issue and that was the blower early on, it developed a leak but didn't cost me a dime.
