I'd love to own this car. Thought long and hard about a C6 ZO6 a few years back.
I just can't justify it for me. I just can't make myself buy a car with two seats. Plus I still have a lot of hair on my head and my penis is fully functioning. |
That last one is probably debatable.

Absolutely the best Corvette ever! Now if Ford could just bring a 2 seater V8 FF sports car to compete with this new Z06 id be impressed! Maybe a "Cobra AC" retro with say 500hp "Voodo" and weigh's in at sub 3k lbs for under $100K;-)
Sadly that is probably so far off the table its sitting out on the curb. Regular stuff aside Ford has to get its stuff straight with Lincoln before taking on something as glamorous as a sports car. Although GM seems to want to abandon the FF sports car market for a mid-engine car despite the limited market and its seat on the throne of affordable supercar performance. |

Should be pretty fast, the styling looks a little overdone but still looks nice.

Except there's talk of a new Ford GT as we speak...
As I've read it pretty much just speculation http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/201...lment-ford-gt/ Although I admit I hope that there is substance behind the rumor. |
Man,...........that 2015 Z06 is a nasty machine! :nice:
(same video as posted in the Hellcat thread.) |
Another video I found last night.
Car is fast! On street tires too. In other words,....100% stock from the showroom floor to the track. NASTY! 10.42 @132 MPH. :nice: |

Not a 2015, but a 2016.
What a GORGEOUS car!!! Holy smokes!   **EDIT: 2016 Z06, not a 2017. The 2017's are being built next month. Sorry. :o |
HOLY SMOKES!!!!
Nothing sounds like a cammed Chevy. Sounds insane. Vengeance Racing has done it again. They do amazing work with GM cars; including the CTS-V, Camaro and Corvette. (For the good stuff go to 5:30, but I suggest watching it in it's entirety.) |

[/CENTER] Sounds bad *** ripping down the road though. An X-pipe works really well with axle backs and long tubes. |
Yeah,....car is disgusting indeed! Can't even get traction on the highway in that video. Too much power and torque. (And that's already on a pretty fat rear tire.) Vengeance Racing has done it again.
That exhaust only is thousands of dollars. I believe around 5k. :fear: |
I didn't want to start a new thread for the Grand Sport Corvette, as this is kinda related to the Z06 in a way.
So I built a 2018 Grand Sport last night on the Chevy website. The EXACT way I would want it. Hey, if I'm spending the money and if it's a Corvette, do it right all the way around, right?!? So I get it all built and I'm watching the price rise and rise. lol So, after about 100K for a 2018 Grand Sport, my car was built! lol (Mind you, this is with the Z07 package, 8 speed automatic and other little awesome features on the car.) Then it got me thinking. Is that car really worth the 100k when the Z06 is a 100K car as well, with a supercharged engine though? :dunno: (About the same 0-60 times, but the Z06 way ahead on the 1/4 mile times and MPH.) I will say this though, the car was absolutely beautiful the way I spec'd it out and all. The interior is gorgeous with a lot of alcantara and suede. Looks like you could fall asleep in there. lol I didn't realize there were so many options for that car. Pretty awesome. |
I'd rather get a Grand Sport and Procharge it or just build it N/A versus the new Z06 and all their cooling issues.
