I hate the fact that every new Lexus has the same front end (ES, GS, LS, RX F Sport ...).
Looks like Lexus too is following Germans with the design strategy ...

Case in point, Ford's trapezoid grill, looks great on fiesta, focus, fusion and taurus, but doesn't work (IMO) nearly as well on the new escape and will probably end up on the next Mustang which remains to be seen if it looks good or not...
I liked the older ISs alot better. The previous gen was less busy and didn't have angles for the sake of angles. I also prefer the IS before that, but thats another story lol
Also a grille that big without anything to break it up is very overpowering. not a fan
The tailights though, I actually kinda like. They get dragged out too far on that lower corner i think, but overall I actually dig that part.

Mr. Predator, your new Lexus IS is ready.

I'm obviously not a fan of the Predator-mouth inspired grill.

I applaud Lexus for going out on a limb with the design. You're going to love it or hate it which is fine. Too many cars try to appeal to everyone and look boring. Pretty much every other Toyota product outside of the FR-S and LFA.
I think all of the Japanese luxury makes are doing downhill in styling because of the ugly grilles they are using. I like this car overall but the grille is hideous... it is such an important part of the car's look though! This reminded me when Acura did the same thing a couple years back and still hasn't gotten it's mojo back! The 2005-09 Acura TL was one of my favorite cars on the road. I sure hope Infinity doesn't screw up the next G37!
I'd have to say the best looking car in this segment is probably the new Cadillac ATS.

And the new Infiniti naming structure is just asinine.
If this is the new trend in automotive design we are in for some real crap coming down the pipe. Since when did making something ugly just for the sake of being different become smart? How about different AND good looking?
Too much?
Too much?
