I think Ford USA should use this engine in the USA. It will be more economical than the current 2.0L, but will also have more power and torque.
Isn't that the same one going into the new escape?

The shapes, textures, feel and appearance are really nice. I am looking forward to some of this influence showing up in the 2010 Mustang maybe in a more dynamic dual cockpit design with a prominent center stack that flows into the console. Sometimes I can just "see" the next Mustang clearly in my head!

Agreed! Sat in one at the DC autoshow and it was VERY nice and should prove to be a very strong contender in its market.

Ditto on the comment about a Focus-based coupe, coming from a former Ford Probe GT owner -- loved that car and its little V6 that added a level of polish and refinement well above its station. There have been various vague rumors about a neo Capri but nothing too solid on that. Perhaps the Evos coupe concept might be an indication of that though.
