I think the rendering looks half decent but I'd be surprised if the real deal looked like that.

 

I hope it looks like that but I'm not holding my breath. I think that's a marked improvement over the current one. The front could be a bit more different but the back is really nice!

Unfortunately, I think that "fish-mouth" grille is a brand identifier that's not going away anytime soon.

 

 

I don't know. I remember reading somewhere (I'll try and find the link) that now, since "Ram" is its own brand -- and that the "crosshair" grille is its trademark -- the Dodge-branded vehicles were going to experience some sort of design revolution so that they have their own identity, presumably devoid of gaping crosshair grilles.
