I'm starting to warm to this car a little. I still like the SLR better but this is looking ok to me at this point. And the SLR does sounds tons better..like a **** spitfire!

One thing did just occur to me..what happens when you are in an accident say and roll the car onto the roof how do you get out of this thing? I realize you could break a window but say that's not an option.

Don't worry, it'll have this on the glove box just for that purpose

Its a nice modern interpretation off the original "gullwings" of the 50's. I like it!

The wheels are sexy too.
The windows should retract, if not, then the can opener will be an expensive option on the Build sheet........

Looks goo though I like the SLR's front a tad better this one's grille opening looks a Little TVR Cerbera-ish to me. Definately don't like the exhaust note on it http://www.motortrend.com/av/feature...lap/index.html
Sounds like a case of flatulence to me. Or a seawiz firing.

I remember reading something about the rollover thing while it was still in pre-production, but I don't remember where. If I find it I'll try to post it up, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

If memory serves I want to say something about break-away hinges... but don't quote me on that.

On Lamborghini's you can open the door like a normal car in a rollover.

You weren't supposed to quote me.

Luckily I was kinda right. I'm not sure how much I would trust explosives 10 years down the road, though. I also would be extremely disappointed if it required a button like shown in the video. "Daddy what does this button do...?"

No in case the car is rolled over, using the door latch activates the explosives

While very nice, and love the color combo, I oddly find it slightly bland overall, gull wing doors excepted of course. Don't get me wrong, a very good looking car, but just somehow comes off a bit too safe in the end, even given that the original was a hardly a voluptuous piece either.

Still, would give my right one to have one as I'm sure its a beast on the road.

Like the car. But I can't get over the optical illusion in the pics of it with the doors open that makes the door nearest you look smaller. Weird.

You know I think you nailed it..it is to safe looking. The SLR was definitely more daring I think that's why it appealed to me..Minus the plastic interior of course.

Yeah, kinda tame, but I really dislike the headlights. They just look completely wrong for this car.

I like it except that ugly emblem in the middle of that grill that should just be open
