Just picked up the lates automobile mag..they have alot of concept stuff in this issue
This was on the cover. The new Gullwing. The mag states it is the SLR replacement and is slated for 2011. A version with 1000hp might be in the works.
The car is aupposedly being made by AMG and Not McLaren. Apparently the SLR isn't selling as well as MB had hoped.

Exactly how many SLRs did they expect to sell? a few thousand? I just dont think there is much of a market for these cars...but the gulwing mignt generate intrest....

BAD A**!!! Merc should have gone with Gullwing from the begining! (From an SLR standpoint.)

 

ps looks good, hopefully the production version will look similar.....the current SLR is FUGLY.

 

Oh yes. I'd take the original over the new one every day of the week. I love those cars.
