I would forgive Dodge if the 4 door Charger looked like this. Problem is that they are trying to make the entire brand wreak of trucks and testosterone. Beast looks can only bring you so far. At a certain point you actually have to move a little bit in the direction of beauty.

Chrysler made one car I would buy. The 300C SRT8 Touring. Thats the Saloon (Wagon) version of the 300C. Essentially the Magnum body with 300C nose, trim and interior. Thats the one car in their line i liked and they never brought it to the USA.

They did not bring it here due to the low Magnum sales. The truth is that I liked the wagon version of the charger more than the sedan because it had styling, power and utility in one package. The 300 in wagon form looks good too.

I've liked the Charger since it was introduced. The chassis is very nice, and it's just a great road car with a good selection of great powertrains.

The exterior looks okay to me, somewhat evolutionary, but not drastically different.

It seems to me that the design is starting to look more and more like this concept, maybe in one or two more restylings/generations it will FINALLY reach something VERY close to this design. Extra bonus would be if they dump the two extra doors when they get there.

I would probably be rolling in that '99 show car version if they'd brought it out. Seriously.

But... they didn't, and I wound up in Awesome instead. I'm not crying.

If the new car looked like this, I would have to consider purchasing one. You guys said it right though, the front end is completely wrong on the current Charger. It needs to be more square, and without the truck style grille.

Mid-size and full-size coupes are pretty much dead. Nobody builds cars like that anymore.

Chally, Bentley SS, the old C63 AMG Black...
True, but the Charger doesnt have to be that huge if Dodge were to hire some people with actual brains!

All too pricey compared to Charger.

Charger is a full size car; if dimensions were any smaller it would compete with Dodge's own Avenger.

What i meant was that there is no point for the charger to be a sedan. What, are they gonna keep crapping on that legendary name! It looks like they will. Either kill it or make it a proper muscle car.
This family sedan-cop car-tank thing is just plain stupid.

I believe that Charger is best selling vehicle from Dodge. So they will not kill it.
They will also not offer a coupe because it would compete with a Challenger.

So things will pretty much remain the way they're.
I think they should've called it Monaco (after Dodge Monaco from 1960s and 1970s) from the beginning.

Oh yeah, Monaco sounds so exciting...

Gran Fury would have been better.

That front should've gone into the current one, even if it retained the four doors.

Agree......Doug's Charger is awesome. Sure, it'd compete with the Challenger, but didn't that happen back in the late 60s and early 70s too? I guess the market was bigger then, but even so.

Just as we now have the Mustang, I'd still love Ford to give us a new Torino coupe (which could be sold as a Falcon XA/B in Australia).
