Mark Sterhenberger's stuff all looks the same. I think that one has 28"s on it! Problem is he used to do very accurate drawings of vehicles now is trying to add the standard bs flash newer artists do(30" wheels inside the wheel wells, and 10" windshield chops) yet doesn't change his basic style. Does Scion have another deathtrap model coming out?

Mini-truckin' is coming back! Remember when mini-trucks were the rage? The only problem with this one is they can't put hydraulics under the pickup bed and have the bed dance around on command.

Not really. I only remember Dodge Rampage. Ranchero and El Camino were bigger than this Scion.

The "mini-truckin'" fad was before the "sport compact" fad, in the '80s- early' 90s. Toyota pickups, Datsun(Nissan) pickups, Ford Couriers, Chevy Luvs.... This was right after the "Custom Van" Era....

Wow, they still publish one magazine about it:

yeh and for it to be crap it would have to you know.....exist first.

As far as design goes I think it could potentially be something interesting to see on the road.

The truckin scene is still going unlike the van. Looks like another soon to be riced out 16 second import that will "PWN ALLZ!!!!11!!. Great he should have done it how we will see the majority of them, huge 6 " tip, triple wing, Front Fascia that has 20 intake scoops. :gay:

Believe it or not, there are some prev.-gen Tacomas and a Ranger like that out here! Dodge's "Daytona" truck comes pretty close with that silly wing on the bed, IMO.

Yep I've been there and seen some monstrosities out there before the F&F phase even hit.

Well put. Scions are grade A ugly and this "concept" is no exception.
