I'm not a big fan of those wheels, they're just not attractive. Plus, I think that 18's are going to end up looking pretty small on the Camaro, just like they will on the Challenger, and the 16's look small on Mustangs.
For comparison . . . . . on crownvic.net it is stated that the 17x7 2007 Crown Vic Steelies weigh 27lbs. Not too bad. I think my stock Mach 17x8 rims weigh 26lbs.
Considerably less difference there than I would have expected. Given the fact that the CV steelie has virtually zero design effort in it perhaps a well thought out steel wheel could be a viable, low cost production option.
You know in looking at that forum, those Camaro guys crack me up. Killing Mustangs for years and crap, they must have some major inferiority complex to always compare themselves with Mustang when we couldn't give a crap about it. We appreciate the American muscle and they appreciate that its not a Mustang.

I wonder how the "killing" was going during those years when the Camaro itself was DEAD!
