I like it a lot.....rear looks a lot like a lexus, but the body line is really nice. Interior looks pretty good too. My only problem is that its still a Buick......honestly, whats the point of Buick anymore

I think this looks great. Yeah, it looks a lot like the Lexus LS sedan. For that matter the Enclave looks a lot like a larger RX in many respects. But at least GM does appear to have a stategy for the Buick brand, traditional American luxury cars and suv's or, if you prefer, a bargain priced take on the Lexus concept. In every way these vehicles appear to hit that target dead center.
In fact, I'll go so far as to say that Buick is one of the few truly bright spots in the GM universe right now. However, the lineup is extremely limited to say the least and can only do so much to help the current situation given those limited offerings. IMO GM should be repositioning the Buick brand as their mainstream competior to Toyota and Honda with the Enclave and Lacrosse as their full size offerings. I say this because Chevy and Pontiac are both obviously bankrupt in terms of marketplace credibility in the mainstream automobile segment leaving Buick as the only established GM brand which can still fill a mainstream niche without inducing giggles at the mere mention of the name. (IMO were the Malibu styled more or less like the Lacrosse and introduced as a Buick with no other changes in mechanicals or pricing GM would have sold at least as many if not more cars with less in the way of rebates) Sadly the prices of those vehicles make it clear this is meant to be an entry level luxury provider for the forseeable future so, in terms of high volume, meainstream offerings, we still haven't seen much to indicate things are going to get significantly better anytime soon.

Young people will not buy it. They're all over Civics, Lancers, & Scions to name a few. Heck, even the new Focus is more appealing than that whale. Buick is in life support anyway.

To my eye that looks like it ought to be a Riviera. Much better name than LaCrosse or Allure...or Poseur - or wherever the hell they get these ridiculous names from these days.
