Gonna be a nice car...
Maybe big and heavy...but still a nice car...

6.4 not till 2010...
new 5.7 in 2009
6.1 first year only
V6 looks a go...

I've noticed a lot of companies losing the spare tire in leiu of a inflation kit. (ie: GT500/Bullitt)
and its not for the size of tires for the Bullitt..
Kinda interesting

Ooooo baby, looks like mopars back in the muscle car wars. I thought the challenger was going to be kind of a niche vehicle? Or did that just change with this info?

So they are going to do a V6 version. Hmm, i wonder how this is going to be priced.

And they better put a pretty powerful V6 to be able to move that 4000lbs boat.

Yeah, unlike Ford with the '08 Focus, Dodge doesn't really need to show the challenger early and guage reaction.

This is gonna be great.

Gimme a white one with the 6.4 and a 6-speed, and houndstooth seat inserts.

guess they're trying to make a profit on the Challenger after all by offering all those trim levels, albeit gradually

How they plan to power that tubby lardmobile with a V6 and expect it to run faster than an old fat woman pushing a pram, is beyond me.

I kid Dodge. I love the looks of the new Challenger.

Definately a cool car...I think it was a good idea to have a few trim levels to keep it affordable for those of us that are indentured servants more or less. The original had everything from a weak 6, to the 440+6.

I can't wait to see these cars start showing up on the street. Well, the V8 versions at least. V6's I couldn't care less about

Can't wait to hear the horror stories of all the dealer "ADM" fees ontop of MSRP. If we thought the markup on the GT's were bad when they 1st came out in Fall of '04, this is going to make your head spin, I predict. Its going to be BAD!!!

Eh, I think the 3.5 is powerful enough to keep it from being outright frustrating.

And at least they're not daft enough to attempt to offer the 2.7 in it.
