I saw one behind me about two weeks ago (before the commercials came out), and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what car it was. Then I remembered seeing the new Impala on this board some months ago.

No wonder the didn't show the car in the teaser commercials.
Hard to get excited over that design. Another slab-sided box with no character what-so-ever. Looks just like the Mitsu Galant with a slightly different grille.
It is also odd to me that with all the retro craze going on and the bringing back of old nameplates that people aren't crying out for GM to try and go back to the Impala's roots at least a little. Does the world really need another Accord/Camry try-to-be?
