Hey all. I wanted to know what you guys think. I own a 1993 Jeep Wrangler and the color makes me kind of queesy, let alone the name of the color (Glamour Turquoise).

I was wondering what you guys would think about painting it SONIC BLUE? I have just fallen for that color recently. I know its a MUSTANG color, but it looks so nice.

Here's a picture. If I could get someones help, I cannot color match to save my life and I have a really sad monitor. I have the photoshop file with the body already cut out. I can send it if someone wants to help me out, please. Thanks.

I think that color's pretty good as is. I've always liked it.

(considers painting the '66 that color)

Thanks. I know it’s a nice color, and that there are VERY few Jeeps this color around. I think I have only seen 4 or 5 ever. But the color is just... not me. That and I am going to have to replace both front fenders. They are dented and previous owner bondo-ed the life out of them and its peeling now too. The windshield frame and grill are rusting out now. Also the hood is peeling; it was repainted by the place I bought it because one of the mechanics scratched it before they could get it to me.

The places in my area that I checked prices, told me that to paint all those parts and blend it with the body, I might as well just repaint the whole car for nearly the same price. So, I saw this as a chance to choose a new color. One place even quoted me $700 per fender! Riiiight...

I am just happy that a year or so back, my uncle found me a deal to get it painted by one of his friends, and I didn't do it. I was going to paint it black. Now that I look at it, for me, I think the black might have looked funny, now that the fender flares have faded to grey. Besides, I like the way the fender flares would look against a dark blue. Here is my best match to Sonic Blue. I also "got new tires and fender flares" by the magic of Photoshop.
