I don't know if this is old news but I don't know so here it goes.

Coming from school today I saw 2 Ford 500s and 1 Freestyle at a dealership on woodward here in Michigan; one black and one burgundy 500, and one burgundy freestyle.

Just thought you people would like to know, but you would rather it be the Mustang

I didn't stop to look at the price tags of either cause i had to get home and get back to school. If you want me to take some pics of the price tag or the cars just let me know.

can you take a picture some time of the freestyle either next to another car or a person so i can get an idea of how tall it is?
I've been keeping an eye on ford dealers for any signs of these cars, of course everything shows up in canada later.

Sure thing I'll try and bring somebody with me to take the photo with the car..truck..wagon...ummm....crossover, yeah, that sounds more like it.

When I saw it against the 500, it was only about a couple inches taller it seemed. I'll take some pics anyway though.

 

Lucky East "Coasteners" our 500 and Freestyles arnt going to hit for another week! Phoenix Az. We have a shippment coming in that is going to have 3 500's and 4 Freestyles! The are all going to come in on the same truck. Ive drivin both at a Ride and drive that Ford had here in town, absolutly remarkable! The CVT transmission makes all the diffrence in the world.

 

i saw a freestar maybe 2 weeks ago and it the price tag was 36 grand

 

I know in Minnesota last month American Ford, had a 500 and Freestyle sitting on the lot. I really like the freestyle, they had the 500 sitting next to a Taurus, man what a huge difference

 

For some reason (youger sister :angry: ) my batteries died on my camera :bang: so i was only able to get these three as of right now, but more to come.

Was the Blue 500 a SE or SEL . . if you remember? I see it had the CVT Trans.

I can't remember for sure, but I think they were both SELs because they both had CVT and AWD which I belive is an option on the SEL and not the SE. Also all three had leather and the works; the Freestyle was the limited version and came in at 34k optioned out. The 500s were optioned, I don't know to the fullest but they had a few options-- as you can barely see from the photo--and came in at close to 28k.

 

That's pretty pricey, considering the new Accord EX with its 240hp V6, leather, sunroof, etc. comes in at about the same. But, I like the looks of the 500 better, believe it or not, and that CVT is pretty cool. I drove a Mini Cooper with CVT and it was actually pretty fun. Even with 115 hp, it felt pretty quick because that tranny was so darn smooth.

 

Get this, I went up there tonight and neither of the 500s have leather but they have the rear detection system,actually they are the same car but different colors, have the same MSRP and everything, but here's some more pics.

 

The Freestyle drives really great. The 500.. not impressed

Nice, it seems every dealership is getting a red 500. Every dealership I've seen has a red one like that...wonder if they think that color is going to sell the most, so far no one has bought them yet.

 

Mike Shad Ford down the street has a tan 500. I haven't seen any red ones yet.

Wow, do all Superduties sit that high? I've seen a few new ones, but never noticed that they're so jacked up. :scratch:

Yeah, I havn't seen any hi-jacked SD's around here either. I think the guy said the dealership did that.
