so that moveable section of the roof rack is actually specifically for bikes? Thats sweet, I want one now.

It can be used for other things, but it's mainly for bikes... I love mine, can mount the bike vertically, or on top, or mount vertically and lift (CAREFULLY) up to the top, which is great. I have not investigated the mods all that much, because the bike rack does what I need, but I understand some have had issues trying to add racks for other uses.

I saw a Mercury Marauder the other day....that has four doors too....hmmm.

It should be fun. Wife is getting a little antsy on the escape, since there are so few being made this year (14000 or so) it might be a while yet.

Marauders are awesome. I'd get one if I could afford it. A guy I know supercharges them for his customers, and he's getting upwards of 525 crank HP out of the stock motors.
