Well I just got back from the Woodward dream Cruise. and it wasnt much if a dream. I mean the cars were the woman were so so but the cops were such a-holes!! I mean on Saturday night they started shutting down the cruise at 10PM!!! Was so early!! T hey were also very picky (meaning nonoe could do burnouts without getting warned or receiving a ticket)
This really changed my attitude about the cruise. I thought for sure the cops would have been alot more relaxed and leanient considering it wan a once a year event.
This had really angered me....
Another thing was there was waay too many other people without classics driving in the wrong lanes. I mean there were tons of signs showing which lanes to use.
Other than that we had a great time. Lots lf beauties to see and hear roraring at 5mph :P
We did see people from the GHMA and we decided to meet up with them. But my dad didnt listen to me and we ended up going the wrong way
I think if we were to go down again we'd make a 2nd decision about going down.

Half the fun is going down to Woodward with Norm Smart and the guys (and gals) from GHMA.
Norm has come to the rescue for more than a few guys that had run-ins with the law (himself included). Everyone involved in the cruise seems to know Norm, and Norm seems to know everyone there.
Saved more than a few tickets.
And that bucket of water is to keep the swelling down in your sore arm!
Shutting down at 10:00pm is one of the conditions for holding the event.
The participating cities along Woodward arrange events and entertainment for afterwards.

The cops have to be that way. There are too many idiots out n' about to ruin stuff... plus too many people with young kids that stand almost right on the edge of the curb.
Go up to Pontiac... it's nearly lawless in that area.
I had a blast though... as usual.
