Hi everyone!
First time poster (long time lurker) here from Saskatoon, Sask.
Since the Canadian threads have been so quiet, thought I'd chime in...
placed my order for a screaming yellow 2005 GT (with bullitt wheels) a couple of weeks ago thru the local dealership here in the city. Said it could be anytime from 4 weeks to 6 -8 weeks wait, which is ok since there's still snow and ice on the ground!
If it does take a little longer that's ok too...lookin' forward to driving it come summer!

Ordered a GT 5-Speed, Redfire, bright wheels last week.
I do not want it delivered until late April or early May. Avoid the salt and give the factory some time to get rid of NEW CAR BUGS.
Dealer told me he has an allocation of one GT a month. He is placing my order on March 1s as his monthly allocation. He says that if he does it any sooner, i will get my car before I want it.
I was surprised that it would come this quick. After watching all the US people complaining about their cars taking many months to be delivered. Then again our car lots here are polluted with 2005 Mustangs, so maybe the Canadian allocation is underused.
What do you think, if dealer places order March 1st, as part of his allocation, when will I actually get my car?
PS: Anybody have a set of stock 2005 GT wheels for sale??

Hopefully the salt will be gone here in T.O. by April.
My salesman Steve gave me his first allocation for Feb. for my
Satin Silver Vert which should arrive by the beginning of April.
The only problem is he keeps trying to write in sCEAMING yELLOW.
go figure. lol
Hopefully i will get a vin# by Friday and a build date by the following tuesday.
I got her fully loaded except for Shaker 1000. Seeing how 3d carbon's boy racer hood isn't in production, i told Steve to order me a 2nd hood for me to produce it myself. Still debating wether to get black or red stripes to match the red leather.
Getting the dupli-colour caliper kit with mustang decals and hood pins(real ones lol).
To be honest with you guys, here in woodbridge, i have only seen 2 '05 stangs.
Both are red. Otherwise i havent seen any driving around.
Hope the ones that have arrived are being enjoyed to the fullest.
Even though some of them are yellow.

Ordered back in november (check signature) should be here in 2 weeks .
Was last told by sales manager that if you order the wait now could be much longer ,I would guess that would be with the IUP option.

Does it count if my order was placed by a Ford dealer in Montreal even though I am based in Switzerland ?
2 GTs (1 black and 1 silver) fully loaded but Shaker 500 instead of 1000.
Dealer said I might get them arround end of April but after what I've seen on some posts here I think I should better expect them arround May

GTs 05 are becoming very popular in old Europe so I'am getting one for me and one for a friend. Maybe I should start my own business since Ford is not yet interessted about selling outside of the US
Can I ask what's the first thing you guys will add/change on your Stang when you get it ? I will get new rims 18' but still which ones

I will have the striping done soon and will probably change the headers, air filter kit and some other goodies... some reprogramming as well. My goal is to unlock another 60 HP from the beast.
