Just got back from this amazing event!!!!!! WOW what a day of fun and thrills!!! Was truly mustang heaven!! Beautiful cars being pushed tro the limits! MAny thanks to Steve Mason for putting this event together and to all the volunteers who made this event possible!!

I lucked out and scored a ride in an 04 Mustang Strictly for the track!! We had to pit 1 lap early cause i was feeling nausious but it was my first time in one of those cars doin 230 km/h on a straight and then 160 km/h into some s-bends!! All i have to say is WOW!! I will remember this for the rest of my life!!! Here are some pics

I'll probably be attending next year. Hopefully by then i'll get some better rubber and maybe a few bolt-ons.

 

glad u enjoyed yourself Derek, was nice to see u at the track - but FYI - the green stang is a 99 cobra - it was once a street car ( i remeber when it was ), your drivers were mike and tom moran, the car is quite a beast now - SHM 5.0 liter 4 valve MOD motor, tom even set a personal best lap time for himself in that car on the mosport track today, he had a good day

How did that gold car do with the SHM PONY license plate???

 

he wasnt in the same class as us so i think he was slower than us.....lol put it this way NOBODY passed us lol we were lapping ppl left right and center lol

 

pulling out of the pits??? - i never put my car on the track - i guess i drove thru the pits to leave - around 3:45

 

paul the "SHM PONY" plated stang started out in intermidiate calss and then moved up to fast, it was moving pretty good going around the track - prob passed cars (except for tom/mike) on the back straight, and sounded really good full out on the front straight

 

Took you a while to recover from that ride!

I was going to ask you if you wanted a ride in the 'Stang, but you didn't look too good! :shock:
It is much more fun driving.

Bet you're still smiling though!

 

lol thanks Steve yea i wasnt doing too good but then at about 1 or 2 in the afternoon i was feeling a bit better :P I would definitely go again lol was totally worth it

Looks like I missed a good event! I was planning to come to take Pictures, but couldn't get away from work! Maybe next year!

It is such a great experience to be able to push the 'Stang's limits legally!

You do it once and then there are no "maybe"s about it!
