Mustang awarded AJAC Car of the Year
AJAC awarded overall Car of the Year to Mustang!
I guess that makes our journalists much smarter than American journalists who chose the 300!
The AJAC awards are much more "hands on" and objective.
Another example of just how good the new Mustang really is.

Thanks for posting in the Canada forum.....another thread is in the 2005 Forum as well.
I was quite pleased to hear this. Good to know us Canucks know a great car when we see it.
Makes my car a little more special as well. B)

I am actually suprised that the 300C didn't get it in Canada.
I would have thought it would have some sentimental voting because it is built in Brampton.
Either way, great for the Mustang to get some recognition, although sales are recognition enough.

not all of our journalists
- just read todays wheels section in the T.O. Star, Jim Kenzie spent 19 paragraphs eplaing why the 05 Mustang should not be the AJAC car of the yearWheels section - page G12
Jim Kenze and Motoring 2005 are just pissed because their choice didn't win.
I couldn't give a hoot what he thinks. They also picked the corvette as the best new sports car this year when everyone else picked the mustang.
The right car won IMO.

Such self control, Kevin.
Maybe a little too much?!
Kenzie did actually give the Mustang a good review.
Maybe because if he didn't, he would be the only one who didn't like it

LOL - i try my best, it just gets to me that hes is this "great" auto jurnalist, but a good part of the time his articles are technically incorrect, or his "facts" are incorrect
example, after the pony drive last year JK writes an article for the T.O. star and states in his article that the engine in the stang that ford of canada provided for him to drive on the pony drive was the engine that would be in the 05 Mustang GT, he was friving an 04 Mach 1, this was last june/july, by that time everyone on earth, mustang enthusiast or not knew that the 05 would have a 3 valve 4.6, i could write a book on the inaccuracies in his wheels section articles, i would love the job of editing his articles, it would be a full time job
