Those that have nothing to do on the 14th of August (it's a Saturday), the Montreal Mustang club is hosting it's 10th annual car show in Sanair PQ. There's gonna be drag racing on the 1/4 mile track, also you'll be able to dyno your car on sight, it's a show and shine and was a great success last year ....There should be 350 cars or so that day, coming from the US and both Quebec and some from Ontario....

looks like i'll be the first one to reply to my own post.....so here it is:
We were confirmed by Ford of Canada that the Mustang GT will be on hand during the show on Saturday.....I'm finally going to see it before it shows up at dealerships.....I'll take pics of it, and also all the other nice cars, but wil need help on tranferring them onto the site.....

 

I just heard on TV that a 05 mustang was there! (first appearance in Quebec) and I missed that... I was planning to go but I had car problems, stupid gas pump...

Yes i finally saw it, it was the red GT, got to sit in it and the lady from Ford let me have a ride beside while she did a lap around the track....I must say that i was impressed by the overall shape of the car....You must seeit and sit in it to really know how the car really feels....The interior is awasome....The only two things i didn't like is :
1) the wheels-tire combo ia a complete turn off to me
2) you barely hear the engine at idle, you must wind it in order to really appreciate it, so to me it a matter of aftermarket.....
I'm going to try to post my pics somewhere on this site, but i think they're too big to post, so someone must help me to resize them or else...

i don't know why i didn't bother to look in this forum before... I was convinced that the 05 wasn't gonna come to quebec until it made it onto dealers lots. And now i find out it was here almost two months ago. Oops.

Oh well, i was away back in august anyways, and i don't have a car either. You guys know anything about an 05 coming to somewhere in montreal?

ps, hey daniel from montreal, my boss is also a daniel from montreal, except he drives a 350Z. I think you should put him in his place.

 

My friend drives a vert 350Z, it's a nice car but i wouldn't buy one, i prefer the 'Stang.....
