Thanks for the thread! I didn't really want to make a big deal of it...it's been going on since the early part of the summer, with filming of the actual show in early October.

I can't really talk about the results or anything but it was an AMAZING experience driving those open wheel F2000 cars. The track in MT is incredible...

I was surprised to have made so many friends from the show...I keep in touch with several of them a lot since the taping and a few of us watch it together at my place every Tuesday (and laugh).

Remember, reality TV is 80% TV, 20% reality.

PS - being on TV isn't everything it's cracked up to be, esp reality tv...you should see all the threads out there on the show and how mean some people are being. one guy called me a masculine redneck.

Anyone catch last night's episode? It replays Saturday at 5pm and a few other times...those cars aren't as easy as they look.

Big D - that's Rahul, he races and run for GoLo Racing (www.goloracing.com). I'll ask him next time I see him...he's a great guy. Kyle, Rahul and Matt come over almost every week to watch the show together. It's a pretty funny time...

How much fun was driving those mazda's on the wet skid pad?

 

Thanks for that...ya it was really sad to go home...I knew it as soon as they kept Jen. It was such a whirlwind thing that I didn't (and others too) have enough time to really learn what we needed to learn.

However, it was SO much fun...the skid pad was hilarious and I was getting the hang of it near the end. I really would like to do that on a wet day in a parking lot with the Mustang. TOO much fun

 

Haha sweet. I was disappointed as well. You should have gone to a racing school! Lol j/k, I dont like that judge.

 

And since I hadnt added her old c/t back. I figured I'd bring it back with a bit of an update. Im so dead for bringing that name back up.

Kristina, way to go! I was watching the show and noticed you were in it. I was surprised, but then again I could totally see you doing something like that.........and could totally see them wanting you on the show.

I'm sure the experience was worth it.
