I just found out
I have SGI ( Gov't) plate insurance costing $700 for 6 months.
I also have a Cooperators Package policy costing $200 for the Year, covers
deducible and Glass to $100.

I am storing the Mustang from Oct 31 til May 1 ( 6 momths).

I just talked to my Agent and they will provide full coverage on
the Vehicle while in storage under the present Package Policy.

No extra Charge! :worship:

I now have this in writting from the Agent. Aug 16

I phoned and talked to BelAir, to remove Liability and leave only Fire / Theft (what's left when you put a car in storage). Was $75/month

I am thinking ahead and looking for places to store my '06 during the '06/'07. Anyone in the Montreal area have any contacts with good price? Where will you be storing yours?

Be aware before you scale back coverages, if you are financing or leasing, the bank or Ford Credit require full insurance coverage for the term of the contract.

The insurance company is required to notify any lean holder regarding changes to your coverages.

Hey Steve, Haven't seen you on the board in a while! I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I scale back my insurance

I was mistaken about the Plate Rates ( Lying ).

Took the Mustang out 20 days early and required 7 months Coverage.

Price for a GT Vert = $1662 for a Year
Plus $200 for the Package Policy, With Cooperators.

Payed $995 for 7 Months

NDP Gov't. Plates (Reads, Everyone should drive a Yugo )

Mustang = More
Accidents, other Mustangs = More
V8 = More
GT = More
Convertible = Most

Yes we do have some of the lowest Rates in the Country,
But only on Chevettes.

I have perfect Driving Record, According to SGI and get a 20% discount
which the Prices in my last post reflect.

Cheaper to get a Vert ? They cost $ 4,000.00 more than a coupe and with out it being a hard top , you'd think it less safer than a vert and it would be cheaper ?
