Well, been out in the Nation's Capital for a couple of days now and have noticed a distinct lack of Mustangs! Just kidding... I actually saw a whack of them at the car show at Campbell Ford this afternoon! Anyone here in attendence?

Anyway, I'll be back on the coast next Sunday but I'll make sure to wave (from my Mazda3 loaner) at any Stangers I see while I'm here!

Ottawa is $$$ car country and even MUSTANG country compared to Southwest Ontario. Hehe.

I've been in Ottawa for about 8 months and the one thing I noticed here is the amount of high end cars. When people get cars up here they are the top model and fully optioned out. In general I see a new car model about 1-2 months before my comrades in the Hamilton area. I'm the only one I know who has seen a Carrera GT to date. hehe. Up on Aviation Parkway. On a 12 min trip home I regulary see $500,000+ worth of luxury cars.

G35 coupes, M3s, and C5-6 vettes and even Cayenne S's are common as muck up here.

This makes the smattering of mustangs all the nicer. Whoo! The great majority up here are GTs (esp. for the 05 model year). and I have seen almost 3/4 with the Red interior. Actually, have your eye out for a black one with silver stripes in the Rideau/Market area. Insane modded stang. Anybody here????

Ottawa is definately the town to make your money/fortune i suppose. Great place too if you love to ogle hot cars and freeze your butt off. Heh.

I thought that I would blow the dust off of this Ottawa thread (wow 5 years old). Anyone else from our nations capital? Lots of great cruise-night car shows in the city. Would be nice to join forces and make a mark out there amongst all of the GM and Chev boys.

I can't speak to how many people from Ottawa are on this board. After all, I lurk...

But locally, my club (NCMA) meets thursday nights at Campbell Ford (weather permitting)... if you want to meet a bunch of local enthusiasts, feel free to drop by sometime... as a bonus, our monthly cruise is tonight ('stay back, you ominous thundercloud, stay back!' *shakes fist*)...

Yeah, that's about it.

Darn! I tent to check this thread for bites more often, but was not in time for monthly cruise night. I've been thinking about joining the NCMA but the website seems to be a little dusty and wasn't sure how active the club actually is.

Do you ever partake in the Wednesday cruise night at the Rideau Carleton slots?

 

Was at Campbell about 5 years ago with my '88 5.0. Time flies.

 

To your benefit, we postponed the cruise last week (blasted weather!)... but this week's forecast is looking much better...
our weekly get-togethers average 15-20 peoples week-to-week, cruise nights usually bring out a few more.
would love to see you come out if you can.

Just sold my 07 GT vert and put in an order for a 5.0 vert last Friday: sterling grey, stone interior, Brembo brake package, rear view camera, cloth roof.

Im new here...kinda.. but also new to the Mustang. Trying to learning all sorts of things.
Been living here all my life. I recently (in July) bought a '07 Pony pgk. Love it to death.. call it "the beast" cause thats what these cars are! haha!
