Frank,

What price did you pay for your GT vs. MSRP ? I wanna know if Montreal dealers are willing to give us prices like in the US; ~$500 over Invoice + HoldBack.

To give an idea, a base GT with IUP is about $30,943 (invoice+HB) and $34,425 (MSRP); that's before taxes of course !

I want to buy one for the spring and I want to know what price people are getting.

Thanks and congratulations !

Merci Daniel,

I might take you up on that offer. Although I am not a member of Montreal Mustang, I hang out on their forum and I know Ted !

I plan to buy it in March to have it for May 1st. Until then, winter will be long !! :bang:

Could all Canadian buyers put in their MSRP and actual selling price out the door.
I plan to order a GT - 5 speed and Bright wheels, no other options.

I test drove today and dealer told me MSRP for cash sale ($34,140) :bang: So I walked out.

I think $31,000 would be a reasonable price. What is everyone else paying.

Also what about when to order, to get delivery in April\May time frame.

If you wish to e-mail me directly - W A L N U T P E I @ A O L . C O M B)

PS: I am in New Brunswick

31k of 34,140k is slightly under xplan price, that may be a tough sell.

I'm getting xplan.

Some of us we are lucky to have the interior with iup...I choose clothe cause it's not too hot in summer..too cold in winter...I think dark charcoal is the best for redfire

The redfire is so sexy and rich looking .. It reminds me of the beautiful cherry wood ( mahogany type) furniture that adornes my condo .. I will be getting the redfire GT however I want the red leather (with heated seats) .. I will also upgrade the tires to the BF GOODRICH in another thread.. I think the size is 255-50's .. They are alot wider and phat looking and don't have to change the stock bullitt rims ( see other thread where a guy with a mineral gray put em on,makes the car look fantastic ! Great stance) ..

The bullitts look SO much better than the upgrade rims on the redfire its not even funny . I saw both the bullitts and the upgrade rims on the redfire IN person .. Those upgraded rims look like they belong on a camry ! They are UGLY !

I won't spend the $2k for the shaker system .. I can get a DVD am/fm/ satellite, MP3/ CD touchscreen Kenwood head unit put in there plus kickarse speakers and amplifiers for that kind of money .. And the silver DVD head unit will look so much better in the dash since it's silver.. I'd much rather have a Kenwood with top notch speakers and amplifiers than any stock system ( I dont care how it sounds, ALL stock stereos break down eventually !!)

Really, I have seen ALL the colors except for the mineral gray on dealer lots in and around Toronto .. And the Redfire for some reason looks so much meaner in the front than the other colors.. Its amazing what color can do .. From the side, the hood lip looks as if it comes out farther on the redfire than any other color .. For some reason, the lines of the car just look deeper in redfire and also standing in front of the car ( and I stood in front of all of them,) the redfire by far looks the widest of all the colors..

I truly am in love with that car and color ..

Rob...I'm really confuse with what I'll put this summer but one thing for sure it will be chrome...chrome wheels looks best with red ...and for the aftermarket wheels I just don't know..torq thrust 2,magnum 500,chrome bullitt wheels...I'll see with the time

Good luck with your wheels.. I for one don't like chrome rims .. The shiny look looks kinda cheap to me .. I like the brushed aluminum look (machined) .. Makes the car look tougher and meaner IMO ..

Regarding mustang pricing: Check the Canadian Prices page 3 of 4. The least expensive figure is for active or retired employees and their families, known as A or Z plans respectively. X plan pricing has a lesser discount and is generally for vendors that provide parts or services to FOMOCO. Employee pricing is 1 or 2 per cent less than what the dealer pays for each car. You must have pin number from FOMOCO in order to purchase on theA,Z, and X plans.
