Toronto has been pretty cold, although we haven't had as much snow as you guys...

Last week I did spend quite a bit of time shovelling though...

Andre how is your Mustang in the snow?

It's not that bad really, I've got some good snow tires and I never get stuck...but last fall I installed H&R springs and it lowered the car about 1.5 inches, now I can hear the undercarriage dragging in the snow sometimes and I don't like that, I might have to get another car for winter driving.

I like Jimmy Buffet's take (either):
The weather is here, I wish you were beautiful...
or
It's Christmas in the Caribbean, we got everything but snow!!

The only thing better than a winter beater is a company car.

How many of you guys have winter beaters ?

It's not something I want really, I don't even have a garage to store the mustang, and it's like double everything, the purchase cost, insurance, maintenance, registration plus you are driving a crappy car four or five months a year...

Maybe my next car should be more practical but I would miss the power of a V8...

Thanks for the offer Daniel but I'm not sure I would want to buy a winter beater, I will have to think about that, I live in Pierrefonds on the island of Montreal near Sources and Gouin. By the way, you should be called "Laval Ponies"

tornado watch, we don't know what that is over here! You probably heard of the '98 ice storm we got here in Quebec....i'll probably never live to see that again....at the worst of the storm about 4 million(out of 7million) people without electricity ranging from has short as a few hours to 3 weeks....I was lucky enough in this town, to only miss it for a few hours a couple of times, mostly during the night.....we got this close to a major disaster, hospitals going down, so as water plants facilities.....and i could go on and on......you probably get the picture i'm sure...
